Missing mark 2?

I FINALLY got into the toxic caves bunker thing to look for the mark 2 power armor and its not there! is it hidden in a hard to find box or something? I am totally lost

Eh.. you made a couple of mistakes there. First, is no such thing as a Power Armor Mark 2. There is Power Armor, Advanced Power Armor and Advanced Power Amor Mark 2. The first two are found in Navarro and the military base south east of San Francisco. The Mark 2 Advanced Power Armor you won't find until the endgame. Looking at the item database on Gamebanshee does however reveal there is a Combat Armor Mark II down there, which is pretty decent too.
