Military Base... HELP!

Hi pals!

I´m playing Fallout 2 v.1.01 and I have reached the Military Base zone.

My problem is that I can't put the dinamite on the metal pole.

After puting the metal pole on the wagon it's supossed to put the dinamite on the metal pole, but the dinamite always goes to the ground. I don't know the way to put the dinamite on the metal pole.

How can resolve this problem?

press the left mouse button to change the cursor from 'move' mode to 'use' mode (if you haven't done so). if you've already attached the pole, left click and hold on the cart, scroll to the 'use inventory item' button (the backpack) and then select the dynamite from your inventory. that should do the trick

all you have to do then is use the cart to blow-open the entrance
