Melee Weapons...

I would like to know what you guys think the best Melee Weapon in each of the games -- Fallout 1, 2, and Fallout Tactics.

I just ordered Fallout 1 and 2 off Ebay and I've had the time to play FOT a little bit. So far from my gameplay I figured that the Ripper and Cattle Prod are the best melee weapons in FOT.

Any thoughts on the subject?

For Fallout 2, you could try to use a search function, as there is at least one good discussion already about best melee weapon in that game.

For F1 and tactics, I don't remember that well any more...

in FoT, probably Ripper.
In Fallout 2, my favourite Super Sledge!

In all the Fallouts you want to use the ripper or mega-power fist unless you like running after your opponent after damn near every hit

I tested the usefullness of Melee weapons verse close range guns. I'll use the guns. Thanks for the comments though.
