Lost Vic

I cleared out Metzger's place, collected the loot and briefly visited the West Side to sell everything. I hadn't talked to Vic yet. When I returned, Vic was gone. I figured he might have returned to his home in Klamath on his own, but he wasn't there either.

Anyone know where I can find him now?

He should be there even after beating those slavers. Are you sure neither you nor any of the slavers accidentally killed him? Or that he didn't for some reason begun to panic and run away? It could be that he has fled, and can be possibly anywhere in the easter section of The Den. Also, in worst case, he might have fled outside the map, as sometimes NPCs tend to do that.

Do you have any save just before slaying the slavers? If you can't find Vic, you probably have to previous save. Though I recall that to complete the game Vic isn't necessary *SPOILER*as you can find Vault 13 by your own, and Vic doesn't actually give you much info about where or how to find it. He basically points you to Vault City *END OF SPOILER*.

I like taking him to his daughter in Vault City.

The door was still locked, he couldn't have gone anywhere. It was unlocked when I got back though. I restarted, but I ran into another quest-stopper bug, this time due to the Restoration Project. I think lost my appetite for Fallout 2 for the time being.
