Long version:

Started playing this amazingly good game a week or so ago. Never had any trouble with poison or radiation, since it wears of fast imo. But now i ran into "a large pack" of some nasty 2 headed crab thingy(centaur?, not sure), anyway... so eventually I managed to kill them all after been hitted alot of times("you've been infected by a large dose of radiation) and when i healed myself afterwards I sure noticed the damage over time, but after trying to rest it of and using radaway and stuff(not sure what addicted does but it cant be good so so far I've just stayed away from all those drugs) and nothing took that "RADIATED" away I drove to the doctor in one of the towns and he healed me twice, first time just hp.. next time cured the radiation.
No more nasty illness mesage, but... I walk around with low strenght, endurance, and some more. And once in a while a mesage says that my flesh fall of the bones, something about "hemorrhaging" and "vomitus" dont know what neither word means. Doesnt make any sence, doc cured me. Help!! I dont want to be mutanted into a ghoul! not that its anything wrong with ghouls though..

Hemmoraging means internal bleeding and vomitus is tossing cookies. Check your character's status page. It will tell you if you are currently poisoned with radiation or radscorpion venom. Those centaurs pack a lot of radiation and one radaway may not be enough to cure it. It tells you how many points it cures each time. Or find a Geiger counter and equip it. It will tell you exactly how much radiation you have. I think a radaway will only cure 25 points of radiation per dose. And if you take a lot of them, or any other drug, you will temporarily become addicted. Addictions will lower some of your stats until it wears off, then those stats will recover. I've noticed that even after taking poison cures I often still take some poison damage even though it shows me as being free from the poison. Go somewhere and sleep a lot until you're fully recovered. Next time pop some Rad-X pills (two should give you 100% protection from radiation). Beware the "tough" aliens as well as they also can give you radiation poisoning.

At status screen it said however that i wasnt ill, except for the low stats. I think it was a bug, cause after reading your answer i just rested for 2-3 days and it was all fine. Yesterday I rested for weeks without getting better.
