Help please!!!

I've been sarching for a training area so i went to military base. As i entered it asked me do i want to go to the entrance or level 1. I chose level one. When I slaughtered all the mutants I realized there is no way out (???!!!) There is an elevator to the north, but when i click on it it just says ->You see: Mine Elevator. it wot move at all! How do I solve this? Please help i don't want to ruin my save.

Have you visited the base earlier? If you have, then you can find the way out from southern part of the floor, there are IIRC few enclave corpses near the exit. The elevator you are speaking of doesn't work before you repair the power generator just bit shout from elevator.
If you haven't and the game has for some reason allowed you to enter the base without destroying the obstacle outside the base with dynamite, then you are in trouble, 'cause there is no other way out.
