Fallout 2: Broken Hills Problem

I'm in the Broken Hills Town and Marcus has just asked me to find some missing people. I couldn't find them so I checked the walkthrough on this site. It says there is a room in the mine with several bodies on the floor and by searching the bodies I can compete this quest. I've been to the mine and can't find that room. Does anyone know how to complete this quest?

If you are 100% sure you have been in the correct place and found nothing, then IIRC the bodies are part of a larger quest-chain, and it is possible you have solved the chain, and the game thus removes the bodies as "it" thinks the quest is solved, however doesn't update your journal.

That's about the best guess I have.

Also - do you run a patched version of the game? Could be a bug which is fixed in one of the patches.

Can't recall 100% sure, but it may be false info that those bodies were actually inside the mines. After referring this walkthrough and this map, I got an idea that those bodies could as well be at the underground sections (in a map, check the Residential section of Broken Hills and look for entrances marked with numbers 5 and 6)

U were right. The bodies weren't in the Mine, but in the seperate underground area in Broken Hills. Thanks!

There is also a misson to let the mutants gone forever. When you free the 2 human in the jail they will give you a assignment to blow up their mine. Once you did it the screens go's black and all mutants are dissapeard. The only thing is that you can't ask Marcus to travel with you but you can find alot of other secrets in Broken Hills when the mutants are gone.
