Dealing with Jeremy Gecko *Spoilers

When I go to deal with Jeremy in the storage area and give him the Part Requisition form all I can order is a "Moss-Covered three-handled gredunga"
And it's never in stock.

What the heck is that all about?
This was after I repaired the reactor.

Also I went down in this manhole and ran in to a big rat called The Brain, he gave me a Talisman and told me to talk to Gordon. Now I noticed that some of the inhabits of Gecko are treating me a little different.
Was this a bad thing to do?
Trying to play a good character if that's possible.

Also, I have enjoyed playing these two games so much, that I just ordered FO3 GOTY edition. Did I waste my money?
And is the GOTY fully patched?

A "Moss-Covered Three-handled gredunga" is an object in a Dr. Seuss Children's Book. Ref: My grand daughter and Google. Out of the mouth of babes

I guess this was a joke put in by the programmers

It's been some time since I played FO2 and I never explored Gecko very detailed but as far as I remember, there are some ghouls that worship The Brain and the other group that are not linked to The Brain.I guess the ghouls that work for The Brain, now like you more - is that what you meant or sth. different?

Yes that's what I was referring to. Some of the ghouls were not as friendly as they were before my dealings with The Brain.
