| | Can't find Vic the Trader OK, I know he's being held by the slave trader Mr M. I got the dialogue okay "you can talk to him" (Vic), but when I made a move towards any of the locked doors they started shooting. Is he the slave in the locked room to the front of the house? Or is he in the compound out back? I have his radio, so all set to go. Thanks for any help. |

| | Vic can be found from small room at the right side of the first big room you enter.
The number 8 identifies the room where Vic is in this picture.
Note that you must talk to the guard standing next to the door (right side of it, IIRC) before trying to unlock the door. Just tell him you want to see Vic, and he will open unlock the door...

| | Can't find Vic the Trader Aha! Ask to be let in...many thanks, Kipi. Hope I haven't annoyed Mr M too much already. Does not like my face. |

| | You mean the "I know that ugly face" comment? It's nothing to worry about, it's simply scripted that way. I got it when I played with a female character with a CH of 10, go figure.

| | | if you want to free Vic, than do this: First solve the Gecko Powerplant problem -> gain Citizienship -> go to Amentities office -> get yourself the metal armour mark II and a hunting rifle -> locpick the main door to the guild -> kill the guardians outside -> shoot to the slavers through the windows (they won't harm you... much - just need to stand under the right angle, and you will be safe, meaning not too near the window, because they will be able to wound you)
Anyway, the keys are: Scoped / Hunting Rifle (if you complete a few quests for Skeeter in Gecko, you will have Scoper HR for free) and Metal Armour Mark II |

But let's give Avane the possibility to solve, and let's not give anymore spoilers without Avane asking, okay?

| | | Vic is rather weak and always dies first, I would recommend other characters (e.g. Cassidy, Sulik). |

| | Good thought. Was going to dump Vic whenever he got 'damaged', but he came through and ended up okay with certain rifle and small arms, [so not a dead loss. ]...So, thanks for the heads-up on Vic but i kinda liked him [like K-9,eventually, always put him with a good home in SanFran]. Got Cass and Sulik - love Grampy Bones. |

| | | He can use shotguns, rifles and later the pulse pistol, which makes him one of the best NPCs, not to mention he can wear any armor unlike half the NPCs you can choose from. He doesn't care if you're a slaver, if you murder everyone in the game (with the exception on one person in Vault City), or you have a negative one billion karma. Even if ya have 5 NPC slots, he is still in the top three best with Skynet, Cassidy, Marcus and Sulik when he isn't bursting through everyone. Anyway, just my opinion :P

| | | Yeah Vic starts out fairly poor, however he is a 6 stage NPC, when he gets to stage 6 he's a monster, just like almost every NPC in the game they all get much much better, this is useful if you yourself dont play a character that can easily kill everything by themself. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
