anyone who knows a lot about fallout 2. help

in modoc, at the ghost farm, you are supposed to find johnny with some other kids. the problem i had is that when i went to the back of the caves, next to the water pump/filter, there was nobody about. i have patch version 1.02e installed and it still happens. am i missing a plot element somewhere or is this a bug. there arent any children in the den in flicks store either, so there may be a link.

You proberly have the UK-version where the kids from the game was removed due to some legislation from some european countries (UK + Germany IIRC). If this is the case you have 2 choices.
either don't finish this quest and some others involving children.
or go to: http://www.nma-fallout.com/binaries/
and get the children patch (IIRC you also need the US-patch after this, but I can't rememeber excatly anymore) and use this.
I've used it and experience no problems with it, but I think you'd need to restart your game after updating.

Considering we now have a Fallout 2 forum... I think that this would be much more succesful if I placed it there.
