| | | No offense meant, but what have you been doing? I have played F2 hundreds of times, and never run out of time, even when I spent long time just killing things and solving every single quest. Just curious, that all.
And to answer your question, I don't know any way to change the time. Maybe there is somekind of editor that allows you to do it, but I don't know if there is and where to look one.

Or does the boat trip take too long?

| | | The 13 year timelimit is hardcoded into the game, so I would think it is pretty hard to remove it. |

| | Yeah, once you complete the game you have the option to keep playing; thus there *shouldn't* be a time limit (why would there be?). I didn't even know there was a timer to this game; even with doing everything I think I only took a year my first time through. I have to give you props for wondering around for that long. |

| | | I've reached the 12 year limit in my games before, but I guess a person will only reach it if they haven't saved their people by a certain point. The best idea is to simply save the Arroyo at a reasonably level say 21 or late 20s to be safe; that way you'll probably never encounter the time limit.
I ended up using a car and an earlier save when I reached the time limit thing myself.
