| | | Weapons & Armour in Fable 2
This thread is to discuss about what type of weapons do you want in Fable 2. It can be any type of weapons be it projectile or close quarters. Feel free to post your ideas as to what type of weapons do you want to see in Fable 2. 
In my opinion, I want a scimitar, a staff, a dual-blade sword and a nunchaku. Wanted to add in more weapons but can't think of any for now. Just have to settle for these few for now. **UPDATE!** It has come to my attention that there are a lot of people who want to post their opinions as to whether they want guns or not in Fable 2. If you want to discuss them, please post them in the appropriate thread. This thread is for discussing the type of weapons you want in Fable 2. Thank you.

...well u could have dual stuff, 4 example dual knives, swords, axes etc. Spears nd pikes would b different nd excitin as well. it would be good to stab the crap out of sum bandits or watever is gonna b on it! also i know this is a bit random but put it online! it would kick ass! nd also u should be able to buy siege weapons and get into groups and attack castles( anohter thing i thought u might wanna put in bit over the top though lol!)
But deffinately dual stuff and spears and pikes!  |

Then I'd also like to play as a monk with fists, you could have some cool monk moves. Tantos would be cool too. Most of all I'd like to see several unique weapons with special abilities.

No siriously... Good idea (y) so mayB they could make diffrent ones to... the one wehere they used to torcher ppl with... with spikes at the end

| | Well there are many kinds of tanto, It resembles a katana but it's a dagger model of it.
For example there's a Yari tanto, A full sized Yari would be cool also. What I was referring to was infact a Throwing tanto
Come to think of it shurikens would be nice too.

That'd rock. | To improve upon your idea, the sword you fling will hit multiple enemies depending on the range and radius of your throw. Might be included in a separate ability instead of the one you mentioned.

| | | Mechanically, it'd probably be more useful that way, to toss weapons like a batarang and whack multiple enemies, but I think it'd just look cooler if when you throw the weapon you had to retrieve it from whoever you impaled. Toss weapon at enemy, *Thunk!* Run up grap weapon and proceed to hack through the rest. |

why put guns in this game....why can't they just stick with swords and bows....but they just have to put in guns....why don't they put shields also...i mean in Fable the only shield you had was your sword...yeah it was cool to have a sword as your shield but in Fable 2...there should be actul shields...like shields with spikes on the edges or in front so you could bash people with it....ummmmm......guns just don't make Fable Fabley...it's just not right....

In my honest opinion, its too early to criticise Lionhead's decision to implement guns into Fable 2. Just wait for the gameplay video or video demonstration to see how it works then you discuss whether it is a good or not.
About your shield idea, its marvellous. Always wanted to bash someone with it and to protect yourself against very damaging blow. Hope it would also prevent 'flourish' attacks too.
