Weapons & Armour in Fable 2

well its been a time now since i last checkd into this fable 2 forum, so pardent me if i bring some old ideas back

something that i missend in fable 1 was a staff, or a wand for thous who played wizards in the game, the only person who hade this was mace.so i think it would be cool to see this in the game.
this weapon could increes your megic stats, like improving your mana/energi.
and it give the spellcaster someways to protect himself(blocking).


and a new robe...more like a cape, if you know, like gandalf.

To add to that mage idea, if dual-wielding is possible, perhaps using one arm for a staff and another for a sword (one-hand sword, that is) might come in handy in case if you are dealing with melee-based enemies. If Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings fame can do this, I don't see how mages can just be restricted to using a staff.

Well like everything sounds good and wat ever, but i don't like guns its just not right. I think more of a selection of armor would be better. I mean being limited with such a small selection gets boring after a while. Wielding a scythe would be fun too I mean if your title is going to be Reaper you might as well be carrying around a Scythe. Maybe have more of an ability to change what your characters physical appearance is. Not always be white or w/e, maybe change to black or tan. You should be able to change the face around a bit to, like you want a bigger nose or a smaller one. The hair styles they were ok I guess. A wider selection of spells and moves would be apprieated too. Maybe get special weapons spontanilously throughout the game, like after you do a hard quest you should be able to get a new weapon or a speical piece of armor like in WoW. Being able to ride a house places too would make the game more exciting I mean getting into horse riding competitions and gaining money like that would be great too. There were so few bows to choose from too, I mean I hate crossbows I prefere the regular ones and there were wat 4 bows total not including crossbows. Not to differ from the main subject but I thought the game was too short and I think it should be longer and after you beat the games there still should be quests you can do. I didn't like the fact that after I beat the game and I had the final sword I couldn't go on ne good quests and beat people down. But hey these are just my opinions.

Since its gonna be a little further into the future I'd like to see Cannons (NOT guns). In Fable TLC, in the Snowspire Weapons shop there are ninja start on the walls I'd like to se those in the game aswell.

That is a good idea. Would give any town or city an imposing (and heavily fortified) look. If there is the possibility of travelling by sea, it will be a welcome addition.

I would like all the weapons to look more real....i.e the katana mainly, make each and every weapon look unique I wouldn't mind a scythe, spear, pole, claws(not like freddy...like vega from streetfighter or zhang he from dynasty warriors), cannons would be awesome if sea travel was possible, also it would make taking over a city alot harder lol. i also think they should make knuckle weapons

they ARE making weapons more real, mainly thinner not fat and retarded.

i know people have probably made this suggestion, but SCYTHES would be the coolest thing ever. good or evil they would look AWESOME.
i think guns are a great idea, the old flintlock kind. theyre gonna make it Fabley so dont worry about that it'll look cooler too than having retarded arrows on your back or a crappy slow crosbow.

I would like to see a scimitar, and also, maybe the fight patterns different, for instance if you used one sword, hero swings it a certain way, which changes, but is unique to the sword, and you use a different sword, hero attacks with a different technique.

when i fainly compleated fable 1 i got the best sword but it was **** u dident get all that cash rewnown and couldent go out and kill with it so it was a bit rubish

That part, I watched too, but the last part wasn't demonstrated. If it works like asking the owner to sell his shop, it will be a lot better than killing the owner.

Then again, if Fable 2 keeps up with tradition, the owner would most probably be lying dead within seconds...
