Speculations for Fable 2 (Will Jack be Back?)

Now I'm sure you are aware of a new Fable coming out late this year and yes Peter is hopefully gunna make this one longer and maybe a different last boss or he might bring Jack back, what do you think? And will it even be based in Albion anymore?

Preferably set before the 1st game, during the time of the old kingdom so we have the Murren Empire, Hew, Wellow, Bluetane, Jack and co.

and with dragons.

Well, I suppose this is the second chance for Peter to make the game he said he would (sure it was pretty good, but it wasn't exactly the best rpg ever as he said it would be).

I personally think that having the old kingdoms, dragons and those kinds of things would make the game much more interesting, not to mention that we would finally learn how it all went down (I'll assume you know what I mean by 'it')

As for having Jack again, don't we all remember that song 'Hit the road Jack' (and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more). I feel that this would kinda apply to this situation as well, in that nobody wants to fight the same guy in two different games unless he's really hard or really cool (I didn't find Jack to be either of those things)

What I would like to see in Fable 2.

I for one would like to see more character development in regards to NPC's. I want to see them with more then 1-2 lines of dialogue. Would have no problem if Jack is back if they actually make him really evil this time around(not you everyday schoolyard bully type.)

I want to see a real cause and effect of my actions. I want to see the quests revolve around that. I want to see a non linear type game where my actions actually have an impact.

I want to see an actual PC developement. Would be real interesting to see how this game would be from a female prospective. I want to see my character speak in this game. Would have been nice to hear his/her voice.

I know I am expecting to much. But know how game developers are today. They will do a half ass job on the next one as well.

Hopefully not. I've e-mailed Lionhead's game developers and very specifically (but politely) asked them to not call it Fable 2.

There is no Fable 2 planned anyway, Lionhead is working on their new and old projects such as Black & White 2, the Movies game and BC.

If that is true wouldn't it be rumoured around some xbox or microsoft sites already, maybe even PC fanatics and magazines? Well so far I can't find any rumours relating to Fable 2.

Well you need to look harder as yes it is rumoured that there will be a Fable 2 sometime next year, I reckon they should continue it after a bad start they can get a good sequel so Lionhead keep it cool man bring out Fable 2 and just watch it soar to good reviewers thats if they include the pointers many have made on some sites

There is no rumour... not even in Lionhead, BBB, Xbox or Microsoft's Xbox department websites... you know it could just be BS some idiot made up.

There is already a Fable 2 idea thread in BBB's forum, most likely they will take their ideas from there. Just so you know, Sam and the other fellows at Lionhead include Mr.M already confirmed that they are monitoring and reading every post made in their Fable forums. It's kinda pointless to post ideas in here since they won't be able to see it.

Arachanox, where is the proof of Fable 2 rumour??? I still can't find any! Not even Google give me any relative websites about Fable 2, all it gave me was some forums messages saying what's there gonna be in Fable 2, nothing said there WILL be one though. Most of the other sites are about Fable 1, not 2.

I didn't wanna post in this thread cuz I think we are getting ahead of ourselves, if we begin to expect all this great stuff for the anticipated sequel and they come up with less than wished for than it is nothing else but plain disappointment but... I do wanna say that no, i don't think jack will be back... I think that if anything, you should take jack's place and battle against all the new heros and destroy the new guild (if you are evil) or become the new guild master (if you are good)

i read this in mi egm (electronic gaming monthly) magazine, january edition:

The fable continues
"OK, so FABLE isn't the "greatest role playing game ever" like its creator once boasted. Still several XBOX owners (including this one) picked it up and have transformed a young lad into a legendary hero or the ultimate evildoer. Apparently sales across the globe have been strong enough to warrant a sequel... and all signs point to FABLE 2 showing up on Microsoft's XBOX successor."

But this was just in teh rumor mill page...would be good if there was a REAL confirmation though...i guess the fact that BBB started a FABLE 2 forum kinda is...

Hi, I'm new here
I just finished Fable and yeah it was short. Jack is so easy to beat.

I think for Fable 2, they should start with the old kingdom like someone says but your main character can be Jack himself.

I don't know if the game explain why Jack went to the darkside but if it didn't, they should explain in Fable 2 how Jack turned to evil.

If you notice, the map is quite small and it looks like the map of Europe. Maybe they can add more stuff on the east side.
