Hi,
I own Fable 2 for the xbox and I have completed it (without DLC), but my sister is still playing it at the moment.
If I rent 'Fable 2 GoTY' edition, can I install the DLC packs to my hard-drive and play them with my standard version (like you can with the Fallout 3 add-ons)?
If not can I play the various DLC sections using my original saves?
IF I install the game to my hard-drive, could I then run it from my Fable disk?
Final thing, if I can play the games DLC from the disk using my saves, will they still work with my standard Fable 2 game?

Thanks for any help, I'm also hoping to rent the fallout 3 add-ons.

a guy on gamefaqs said: "The DLC is included on the game disc.
One disc with everything." i am quessing there is nothing to download.

you could probably play with original saves and the goty game, but you would NOT be able to go back to the original game. "dlc crap is missing" message. try this last. this would probably permanently corrupt your save.

you may be able to save disk to HD and use original fable disk. try this first unless the dlc is downloadable. you can always delete the goty game (if it doesn't work) without messing up the save.

can someone else verify?
