Evil in Wraithsmarsh, Killing the Banshee

I am having one heck of a time trying to kill the banshee. Does anyone have suggestions?

Well first off, you have to kill ALL the little monsters the banshee spawns before the banshee itself becomes vunerable.
As far as a strategy to beating one goes, I usually cast a level four or five surround spell like shock or fireball on the anklebiters, then shoot the banshee in the head twice.

Yea, destroy the little brats and as suggested above use a gun of some sort. Preferably the Enforcer since you can end it quickly.

Take out the shadows then simply pull out a high leveled pistol you'll be able to reload fast enough to enload the led in one of her "attack waves"

My stratigy is to do do a high lvl spell and then either attack with a sword or gun.

Personally, Max out your Lightning. Power up yourself, hit the ground. Fry's the Buggers. I also use power attack on the Banshee, with my Master Cutlass. Knocks out quater of his/her health at a time. Hope this helps.

What I do is that I get close to the banshee and cast a level 5 enflame.
That way you kill all of the buggers, and the banshee in one go. Works for me..

Fastest way, Quite simple.
Wait till the little creatures spawn and shock, Force push or just wack them to eternal slumber.. Wait till she is done screaming
At this point its wisely to stay away from her since she will suck the life out of you. then when she start Breathing in ( Looking tired ) Just hit her with your sword, I use the rising sun for a weapon witch you can get at temple of light, i usaly kill her in a few blows

Or just, you know, cast a high level spell and use the Enforcer to one hit her.

Well very good way indeed... but lets state the obvious and lets say that not every one carry's this weapon..

Well if your asking the best way to kill a banshee specifically why not come prepared? And on top of that if you have a maxed out inferno, when she starts to summon the little monsters start charging it up but make sure you're far away enough away from her but she's still in its radius. If done correctly, you will kill the little ones and since she's far enough away by the time the spell gets near her she'll be vulnerable and bam, you just killed her AND her minoins in a single shot.

Kill the little... things... then just keep shooting it in the face with preferably a master gun of some sort. I personally prefer Master clockwork rifle with 4 augments, or a Master clockwork pistol with the same 4 augments, can't remember what they are, but the divine luck augments are useful.

Some weapons can OHKO the Banshee, like the Enforcer, and I have heard the Rammer works.
Maybe a Master Flintlock Rifle with a load of augments..?
If you are having genuine difficulty getting these weapons, add me and I'll get you something, although I cannot give you normal weapons, I do not use my Enforcer. Does anyone else find it weird that you can only gift Legendaries?
