No... No you don't. First off, Jack of Blades needs no second hand man, unless he needs to use someone. Once your usefulness is done you are to be discarded by him like that Iron Longsword/Katana that served so well in the begining of the game. Also, he is the ultimate puppeteer, those to whom he deems as worthy of his attention he keeps in constant scrutiny. There would be no shadows for you to plot in.

In short there's no job security, no life insurance, and no one who will cry over your inevitable grave...

- Own a large area of land
- Secretly plotting the overthrow of Albion
- Create a large faction
- Own many trade routes
*Plainly, I would do a little "collection" with travling traders
- Wreak havoc amongst all little 'uns
- Have as much sex as a man could muster

- Be a trader
- Have dreams of being a hero
- Envy those more fortunate than me
- Try everything I can to become famous
