WHAT IS the point of lockpicking?

i love being thieves or rogues in rpg games, can anyone tell me what is in the stores at night time? anyone know?

It varies from which shop you pick.

If you pick a weapon shop you will get weapon's and maybe some augementations.

Armour shop you will get armour.

General you will get potions, produce and books.

Lockpicking is a good way to get money.

the same items you see around the shop during the day will be the items available at night. Going in at night generally means no one to watch you though.
