Twinblade -- help

I am not a very strong character and cannot defeat Twinblade. Some other posts seemed to say I don't have to fight Twinblade, but fight the bandits in the circle around Twinblade. Do I have to kill twinblade? If so, I'll have to do the quest after I do considerable leveling up! Any suggestions on completing this quest?

Depending on your definition of "weak", im sure that you just don't have the tactic to defeating the giant down yet. First off, its important to know that it is very hard to damage twinblade before he uses his ultimate strike, which renders him useless for about 10 seconds. The only exception is: I had beserk on and managed to strike a sliver away from his life. In any case, Twinblade will try a veriety of sword strikes at you to start. To counter his blows simply use your block and dodge techniques, as you are a much faster hero then he in any state. Alternatively, you can use the old physical shield spell (which is a "must have" in my opinion). Either way he will eventually launch a strike which will strike his dual swords into the earth, assuming you dodged, you will be able to circle around him and strike him in the back once or twice. Once you have struck him he will free his swords from the soil and launch his sword strikes on you again, so be prepared to dodge. Repeat the process of circling around him when he uses his ultimate strike and you will have him dead in moments.

Note: that the bandits will attack you if you get to close to the outside of the arena.

And to answer your previous question, I don't believe its possible to avoid the twinblade battle altogether, BUT if you are a good hero it is possible to "spare his life". Once you get his health down enough a cutscene will commense and you will be given the choice to continue the fight to kill twinblade, or to spare him and leave the arena. If your arn't confident in your fighting skills at that point, I suggest you simply walk out of the area and you will complete the quest and recieve good points.

Assassin Rush is pretty good - you go round the back of him and can inflict damage. He takes time to turn around. Basically, any tactic that works on trolls will work on Twinblade...

I just rolled in circles around him untill he did his "special" attack, then just beat him down for 10 seconds at a time.

The main thing when fighting Twinblade is patience.

You just have to keep moving, sometimes move in close to encourage him to do his special attack, but roll out of the way. Once he does do the attack, move behind and start smashing him, make sure you move out again and wait for the oppourtunity. Eventually after having done this several times, he should be defeated (not necessarily dead).

One tip is to avoid going to the edges of the circle, because the bandits, the horrible blokes they are, will attack you, now this only causes small amounts of damage, but it can be the difference between Twinblade hitting.

I can't recommend and will powers, because you should have your own combos about what works and what you like to use.
