Temple of Avo quest...no weapon?

I've tried donating all the way up to $164,000 and STILL no weapon. Could it be because i'm uber good? I've already defeated Jack and "did the right thing" afterwards (don't want to give anything away for those of you who aren't there yet) but now i'm going back and trying to clean up my quest queue (except for the evil ones like Skorm) and no weapon....just youth after trying to give them over $164,000 right off the bat.

Is it even worth it at this point? My weapon is probably better. I think it's a greatmace that does dmg of 270. Although....the sword I pulled out of the stone does less dmg, I think it's faster to use in combat. Not sure.

It's worth doing just to get your good back up after the chapel of skorm quest. There are plenty of threads on that. Anyway it's easier the eviler you are, do get some now clothes and tattoos. also you get an age reduction.

The Sentinus (The weapon you get from the Temple of Avo) has 255 damage. And yes, you haven't gotten it yet because you are too good. If you really want to get it, get as evil as you can and then donate around 30,000 to 32,000 gold. As a side note, the actual "Temple of Avo" quest will never be cleared from your quest list.

Yah. I'm not going to do the Skorm quest just because I'm playing my character as a straight up good guy.

I did however get some good tattoos including one for the face. I'll get the age reduction then and be happy with just that.

Ah okay. Well my current weapon is better then that so oh well. I'm not going to worry about it especially since it never clears the q queue. Thanks!!

I do hate those quests though that never leave your queue. I like a clean queue. Just like a I love a clean DVR queue.

If he's playing the original Fable, maybe it gets cleared on there. But on TLC, it does NOT get cleared.

It depends on your preference. If you prefer fast action weapons, then, go for the sword in the stone (The Avenger). If you prefer heavier weapons, go for the Sentinus.

I did manage to get this Sentinus before but that required a lot of money up till the point that I lost count (My character was a perfectly good one). Didn't really find it worthwhile as I got a better weapon by then.

The sword in the stone is actually The Harbinger.

Whoops. Got the names mixed up. My apologies. Been a while since I last played Fable and not to mention that the weapons I rarely used get forgotten easily.
