tattooist gone! What to do?

So I got some cool tattoos and I though I would get them, but the tattoist is gone! I read in another thread (Lady Grey thread) that he can dissapear if you dig up the silver key by the statue of the guy with the axe... Is there any way to get him back? If there's another tattooist in some other town it doesn't really matter, I'll just go to him, but if there isn't it's a real bummer yes, a bummer...

Hello, danulf. Welcome to the forums.

Well, I ever encountered the very same problem as yours the first time I played the game. The infamous disappearing tatooist of Knothole Glade bug. This problem occurs when you dig up a silver key (or do anything like opening up chests or something) while going through the White Balverine Quest. Basically, what I did is to reload a save before the start of this quest and avoid doing anything like digging for silver keys and opening chests. The tatooist will definitely be there after the quest.

As for the second question, no. There are no other tatooist other than the one in Knothole Glade. Just avoid digging up any silver keys (or opening chests, just did it in case if this action also trigger the bug) during the White Balverine quest and you'll be fine.

aw crap, I think I've overwritten any save before that

I'm not really happy with the guy any way so I can just start over from an old save...

Thanks

You're welcome.

Oh, I almost forgot, avoid heading to Knothole Glade before the White Balverine Quest as well. Weird bugs like the disappearing tatooist will also occur if you do so.

No. There are no official patches or bug fixes for Fable: The Lost Chapters.

Just wander around between towns, plenty of wandering tattoo artists. I rarely ever go to the Knothole Glade one anyway.

You mean wandering merchants, right? I know that some of them do sell tattoo cards also but the choices they offer is kind of limited and most of the tattoos they sell have low attractiveness and high scariness, from what I found out the last time I played the game.
