Sword of Aeons need help!

hi i currently have fable:tlc on xbox and when i try to keep the sword without killing my sister it doesnt work.......i have tried hitting her with another weapon and walkin out but it wont let me walk out! i have done a hero save and loaded it a million times but it just keeps giving me a stick instead of S.o.A. Can someone tell me how to keep it without killing my sister because i wish to keep it and get avo's tear

Umm...first, you always have the stick and second, you just can't keep it without killing the sister, that's the whole point. Two people from the bloodline have to die from the sword to keep it, the mom and the sister, or you must throw it away. *Spoiler* later the oracle says the s.o.a. is really a ghost of the original one, but once the mom and sister are slayed by it, it becomes real or something like that.
