sword augmentations

I was wondering what sword augmentations are most effective against which creatures?

It would be amazing if somebody had a comprehensive list.

Hello and welcome to the forums, tremplaya.

There is a list of augmentations on this site but it isn't specific on which augmentations are effective on which monster (try looking around at GameFAQs).

I remember that Hobbes are weak against fire, hence the flame augmentations, silver is effective against the undead and Balverines. As for lightning, I can't remember but someone on this site mentioned pixies as being weak against it.

And piercing works wonders against tough creatures such as trolls and some bosses.
