Scars

I got TLC and the computer im useing cant run the game real well so i put everything at the lowest setting. So now I have red bloody scars on my face since i was a kid. Do they ever heal or with low graphic settings it doesnt show them healed and they just stay red?

The game has a total of eleven scars in all if im not mistaken. Each scar has a fresh version and an aged version. The scars never actually go away persay, but they do get a different graphic over time. This makes them look like they haven't recently been inflicted, giving the illusion of healing.
