Saving Games

How does one save games correctly. I have saved two seperate names and had my saved saved only partially ecah time. Example. I saved after playing for over 2 hours but was only able to load about 1 hour of the game. Does anyone know how to correct this?

You might have saved it while you were on a mission. You'll notice the 'Save World' option changes to 'Save Hero' option while you're in an active quest area.
This is usefull for multiple item cheats and gaining experience, but generally I didn't bother with hero saves.

hero save just saves your heroes exp and other stuff about your hero but the world save saves everything, so use the world save
