Rose garden/combat multiplier

In the pc Fable there is no rose garden next to the old women's house (location of silver key) any ideas as to why? Also, I hear--"Get your Combat Multiplier even higher"--any ideas as to how one can do this? Thanks for any help.

There are existing threads on this topic. The short answer is to use Physical Shield.
