Rent!!

i i said i wanted to rent it out, the door is locked and there is a rent sign up but i havent collected any money. why? do i have to find someone to rent it to or does it do it automatically?

Well, you usuallt have to wait a couple of days for a person to rent your newly acquired house or shop. Not sure of the exact time, but sleeping a couple of times will help speed things up. Once there is an occupant, you will be able to collect your rent daily from the front of the building you have rented out.
