physical shield activation

I have a physical shield spell but when I click on it, nothing happens. Is there some way to activate it? Thanks

for all the help--this really is a cool game and website?

As for your question, have you tried dragging the physical shield spell into the hotkey section and see whether it works or not?

If you play on the PC, you can also drag it to the mouse-button spell slots. As in when you hold down shift, the mouse buttons can activate pre-selected spells.

Yes, you are correct--drag and drop the skill (physical shield) on number wheel--I'm not using a pc with a mouse--so I found out that I needed to re-direct the NUM keys with different letters(go to options)--and it worked--Now I hope I can get my combat multiplier higher. Thanks a lot.
