Guild Cullis

I'm a new advocate of Fable: TLC. I just finished my first story line, and am starting a second. However for some reason, I don't have the guild Cullis activated on my second character and I cant remember how I got it the first time. I thought the guildmaster takes me somewhere to activate it once i get the Guild Seal, right? How do I trigger his actions in doing so?

What am I missing? Not being able to teleport back to the guild is really lame. Help much appreciated.

Have you met Maze in Bowerstone South after Wasps quest? On my experience it's necessary, and only after that approaching the Gate here enables teleportation.
Also IMO one should play through the whole Guildmaster's post-graduating instructions part.
It happened to me, too, few times, and usually one of those two conditions had been missed, so now i'm careful about paying full attention to Guildmaster and Maze at the beginning

Did the Guildmaster give you anything else, such as the lamp? If you don't have the lamp or the guild seal in your possession, then you probably didn't complete the Guild training quest (check your active quests). If this is so, you need to step on the experience spending platform (you don't have to level up; you can just step on it and then exit out of the menus) to finish the Guild training quest and receive your startup kit.
