Dragon problem.....Game has unbelievable glitch.

Okay so here it goes.....In my Fable: The Lost Chapters disk, I have a serious problem.

I can beat the whole Red Dragon, and have killed it several times in fact with different methods.

Then it says to watch the credits and I will be able to control my character again and go back to the game....

So well I do watch the credits, I choose to throw the mask away and sit through watching all of the known credits and half-way after this during when the staff for Big Blue Box scrolls by.....the game disk makes a crunching sound and then the game freezes.

40 different tries, in more than two ways on the same machine.....Same problem after watching the credits. I do not get to control my character. The game freezes.

I am looking to see what this problem is caused by and how to solve it...I have not done much experimentation with not throwing away, or throwing away the mask. But either way this problem seems to plague my game...

I have had this game for over a month now. Edit: If someone who has it can tell me how to stop this I will greatly appreciate it, I'd really like to get back to enjoying the game. I have boiled the disk twice.

PS: If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I also have questions about the Nymph in Northern Wastes. I have encountered it once, and it was completely random. I'm interested in any tips or anything, that anyone out there knows which might increase the chance of encountering the creature or any other advice. If you don't know anything, thanks anyway.
