diggin' a hole

does any one know what you supposed to do in the greatwood entrance, there's a little nook with an old shrine or something, it has two statues and a patch of dirt in between. i have dug there and come up with nothing. any help would be nice.

When the statue in Lookout Point is pointing towards Greatwood Entrance there will be a chest at spot your talking about. Otherwise this happens around Noon (game time).
