Dark wiz hat ( TLC )

Hi guys it's my 1st post on forum; after checking up all the website about it i still don't know exactly how to get this damn hat... I'm french btw so i maybe missed something cause of my language.
I want to know if that's possible to get BOTH hats or only bright or dark? Cause i got bright one but can't get dark atm... *let's start game all over*

I did read somewere that if you donatate "bad" books at the school you will recieve it, if you donatate "good" books you will get a Bright wiz hat. (bad books are "the sock method" for example)

One final note as I tried this quest a couple times before I accomplished it.

The 9 books don't ALL have to be evil in a row, I believe it is just after 9 evil or good books in total, you will get the hat.

I accidentally picked up TWO good books on my way through the guild, and later wanted the evil hat. The schoolmaster kept asking me about those two good books, and when I declined giving him one, he would ask for the other. I was screwed right? Well since I had nothing to lose I just gave him one of the good books, and then he asked for the second, I declined and proceeded to give him the rest of my evil ones, and voila! I got the hat. So for all you thinking that you can't get the hat of your choice, don't despair!

i'll go with the bright one since the bright will user cloth raise ur attractiveness
