Bard(s)?

So, at the certain time there bard(s) appear(s).
Is there any reason or hidden purpose?

My opinion is that the bard (notice how the bard has the same name no matter where you encounter him?) serves only to provide humor. Other than providing different rhymes about the hero's exploits, I haven't seen any other results from interacting with him.

The Bard is always at any bar in any town (except Bowerstone North) no matter what time of day it is. As for his existence, he's just there to provide humour, as what Fire Monkey had stated.

well..there is a tale about a bard that sucks hard and the ''better bard'' its a quest wich they actually wanted to put in the game but for some reason they didnt. tho some things from the quest they let in:

a book about a bard that kills somebody with his terrible voice
bards singing rarely: Alas Alack! This man of song, Is rendered dumb, his task to hard!
My muse in Legend doth belong; You need to find a better Bard

and it also had to do something with:The nymph Crouches as a quarter past three.

If they did this 1 into the game it was a bronze quest wich you got from a bard who looks like a normal villager and singing only that rhyme. if you completed the quest you got the Singing sword, however it is a very hard quest with like 40 riddles to solve. i knew this because you can only get the quest if you mod your game and i did.its nice if you have nothing to do after you beat the game.

What version of Fable do you have?
I have browsed trough the weapons quite a lot in the past, and I have never found the singing sword. I found the Harvester and stuff.. but not the singing sword.
Have you put it in yourself?

you can only get it by modding your game, and i have all versions :P fable xbox tlc xbox and tlc pc

By browsing the weapons, I meant browsing with Fable Explorer.
Its just that I have never seen the singing sword in the list. Found the harvester, and stuff like minion weapons.. briar rose her katana.. but no singing sword :P

I think that bards are just there to provide amusment for, sometimes I think they just sing stupid songs though

The Singing Sword does not exist, it is a myth.
If you saw the youtube video, that was a modded Bareaver, with effects, power, etc...

The harvester is a unique crossbow. It has very high attack.
Just do a google image search.
Other stuff is:
-Minion weapons
-Maze's weapon
-Briar Rose's Katana
-Thunder's Sword
-Bandit weapons
Pretty much any weapon NOT normally available to the player.

Im sorry I can not post any pictures of them. I have removed Fable, and Fable explorer, and IIRC, getting Fable Explorer to work is a real pain. :P
You could try to find a picture with google, but the weapons dont look any different than when you see them on the person they belong on.
