Avo I hate you deeply

Sooooo.....I searched the forum for answer and got many...sadly non of them worked. I went to Avo's Temple. My character is a better person than Ghandi. I donated 50K, didn't work. 70K neither. 80K neither.I tried in separated groups:
first 10000
then 20000
and then another 20000

first I didn't get anything. The second time I got the age reduction. The third time nothing. Sooooo...I'm 31...WOW...THX VERY MUCH A-V-O.

Any clues??

Not only that but you can also acquire a special weapon after donating a lot of money at the Temple of Avo. I read it somewhere in the Equipment Database of this site's walkthrough a while back.

If you want the weapon, the easiest way to get it is to go fully evil and donate 70,000 gold. It worked for me. To get the weapon, I think it's not that you have to be good enough or donate enough gold, but to get the most good point thingeys out of it.

OK, I have tried teh 90000-30000-20000. No luck there.
The problem is my character is too good. He's as good as the game allows you to be. What pisses me off is that I wanted to make a Paladin, and this would be just perfect. Besides why being a better person means you have to pay more gold??? That sounds...well...retarded.

I think it looks like either the Temple of Avo and the Chapel of Skorm are tailored more to opposite alignments. Probably as a quick way to switch from one alignment to another, I suspect. And yes, I also find this method is kind of stupid at times.

get a body guard and kill him at chapel of skorm then do the avo quest.

yeah,you could do the chapel of skorm for the bow,age and title then do the temple of avo.
unless you want to stay fully good for the rest of the game.

anyway,try donating 1000000g
then donate 1g
that might get you the weapon.

how far are you into the game anyway?
we would be of better help if you tell us what your funds are.

Well, I had little electric problem (literally) so I had o restart. Anyway I wasn't really far. I had just reached Avo's temple. The problem now is that is getting quite difficult to make the amount of money I had before in the game. Last time I had foun this guy who sold diamonds cheaper than he bought them. so I did the trick and made a lot of money. But aparently that was a bug, because when I did it, I had zero in Guile skill. Know its more complicated. But, as soon as I get all the money I'll try the "Skorm first then Avo thing second".

I just did it the easy way. I got regular civilians (not bodyguard) gave them too the skorm temple. I dont give a crip if I get a weapon I got a warhammer. All I need is age reduction. So I just give them to skorm then go to avo and get my good points back. Lol I know kinda cheap to get your age down lmao. I like the body guards. They are evil its so funny. I just like their scottish accent its awsome. And the civilians just come back after a few days so why not kill them if they come back? Its soooooo fun.

donate 300000g and you get the weapon........
