| | | acquiring both bright wizard hat and dark wizard hat.
Is it possible to get both wizard hats? For instance, early in the game select an orchard farm quest, then get 9 good books from guild and give to the teacher in bowerstone to get the bright wizard hat. Then do hero save and load it. afterwards get 9 evil books from bowerstone, "sock method", "eyes of a killer" etc and give to the teacher again to get the dark wizard hat.
Is this all possible? Has it been done? I would like to know because i started a new profile and would like to try to get both |

| | I think there is a possibility, though I have not tried this method as of yet. The list of bad books can be found here. I think that you should be able to get both the dark and light wizard hat if you give the Headmaster the books in the correct order (bad books first, as listed in the link, and then the good books).

| | yeah its possible,ive done it every time i played tlc.
its best done during the "find the archeologist" quest.
use the culis gate to get to witckwood so that it will start the quest and enable the hero save,then look for the books,give them to the teacher and get a hat,then hero save,load,find other books,give them to teacher,get alternate hat.
good luck 
(and try not to mix good books with bad books because if you do,say you have to give the teacher 9 bad books,so if you give him one good book you'll have to bring him 10 bad books,etc,i tested it alot) |

| | | Well... I could be wrong.. And prob are.. But doesnt the hat that you get. Depend on how good you are, Or how bad you are? I used my good profile and got a bright one.. I used my evil profile and got the dark one.. So yeah i dont have a clue..

So far as I know, the only way to get both hats is to use the hero save exploit, and even there I'm not sure if it's just a theory or if somebody has actually been able to do it.

SWC | I did it once, and I have no idea how. I played through TLC good, so I picked up the books as early as possible. I got the hat right away, thought nothing of it, and then kept going.
Because I wanted the key, I kept giving him books. Then, randomly, much later, I gave the schoolmaster a book and *bang* he gives me the dark wizard hat!  I don't have any idea why, because I didn't think it could be done, and consequently didn't pay attention to what books I was giving him, etc.
I think I gave him multiple copies of books over and over, so maybe that did it. I really wanted that key, but I didn't pay attention to what I'd already given him. So I just kept buying any/every book I could to contribute. Myabe if you give him, like 15 copies of "eyes of a killer" you'll get the second hat.

| | Ok tried it, and the teacher took all the good books first, thats cool because i was after the bright wizards hat anyway.....i guess you do need to watch what books you pick up depending on what what your after...Thanks guys

and you cant give multiple books with the same name. | I don't generally use the hero save exploit. I'm too afraid of it corrupting my game. I use it once or twice to get an extra silver key or do the age reduction trick. That's it.
Why does playing on a 360 matter?

| | because the 360 uses emulators to run original xbox games,so microsoft knew that people were getting both wizard hats with the hero save exploit,so they changed the game so that you can get both(one after the other) without corrupting your game(with the hero save exploit)
