It may be a bit earlier than that as they're just starting the internal alpha (from what I've heard). Anyway, let's hope it is, but more importantly that it's actually ready and polished at launch. Better delayed and good than early and a bug ridden mess.

2005 is the official party line on release. But really it is anyone's guess.
