Smile Greetings~! Say Your Salutations Here!

Hi, i'm a hardcore rpg gamer from singapore. I have been gaming from like 10 years ago? I played tons of rpgs ranging from consoles to computer but nothing beats DnD PnP style

I was introduced to DnD by my friend 5 years ago and got seriously addicted. When i started, it was already on Core rules 3.0, so to me rule 2 is abit confusing. I followed the game pretty much, play almost any game that has DnD phrase in it, from Baldur's Gate II, Ice wind dale, Pool of radiance, Neverwinter Nights, NwN-SoU and Temple of Elemental Evil.

Well most of you DnD Core fans out there, actually has the same disappointment at NwN which turns out to become a hack and slack game rather than a good RPG, but sadly, there is not game out on the market with core rule three without a thick bunch of bugs plagueing them, like pool of radiance! Boy that game is buggy, or TOEE's CR3 Balor, and indestructable, unlimited duration Morkidaen's Faithful hound.

I'm currently still studying and forsaken DnD for like a year due to studies and the lack of players but now im back to the table with a group of friend this time as a player rather a DM. I tried many "stupid" ideas to bring DnD to my friend like making it Online!! Using MSN chat rooms, a computer random dice generator and an excel plotted dungeon. Sadly it didnt turn out well, without seeing the DM and the other characters somehow dulls the game, and constant messages where PCs interupt each other gives me a headache to type quick enough.

After saying so much, im actually getting to the point that there is no way any computer game can take over the versatility and creativity of the PnP game. I wouldn't get my hopes up for this but im hoping to meet more DnD Players out there having the best of DnD!

Hail to all adventurers out there !
