| | | What do you think will be the next big D&D Accessory Book? With the advent of 'Races of Stone,' 'Libris Mortis,' and Frostburn,' it would almost seem inevitable that someone should ask this question. Could we see one for Giants, or Goblinoids, or very hot regions? |

| | | I'd say the opposite of the fiend folio, so something with angles and stuff like that.
Personally, I hope they make more settings/mood/sfeer books. Simply books with an extencive background about certain regions. Like The Underdark, but less macro, specific regions/cities. This is always a great inspiration for quests.

| | The next book in the environment series will be about deserts. It will be called Sandstorm.
The next book in the monster type series will be about abberations. It will be called Codex Anathema.

| | | Still, what might be the next one after those two, Mr. Waesel?
Me, I err, voted for giants. If it had a name, I'd suppose it'd be called something like "Children of Jotunheim." |

| | | Races of the Forest (elves, halflings + a new one) is due in Feb 2005.
Races of Destiny (humans, half orcs, half elves + a new one) is due now-ish.
Sandstorm.
Book of Undead.
Book of Abberations.
Then, AFAIK from my sources (admittedly the local RPG shop), there will be suppliments for most terrain areas (jungle, swamp, mountains, etc.).
That should take us to mid-2005 or so.
Cheers,

I would like to see something with the "good" races and creatures, similar to the Fiend Folio, but I won't hold my breath.
Predictions - lots of Eberron stuff. (meh).
- Complete Rogue ( I hope so, for my Bards).
- Something Planescape-y, my rumour sources are saying that Wizards may be reviving Planescape for 3.5 (but they are only rumours).
Cheers!

Just look at Eberron to see how WoTC are trying to get people to focus on low level games, and "retire" their PCs once they hit 15th level or so.
Cheers,
