shadow conj/evok and shrink item ?'s

What happens if you cast a Conjuration spell like Mage Armor? (With shadow conjuration)Does it grant a beneficial effect at all?

There's also the energy vengeance spell, I think, what would happen if someone cast a lightning bolt at my character with a shadow evocation of that spell? Would the caster of the lightning bolt roll a will save... or does the lightning bolt automatically succeed since it itself is an object, or..?

I read a thread elsewhere that against an antimagic field, throwing a shrunken boulder against the AMF protected person is one of the better ways to get around the field, but that lead me to re-read the spell. It can be dismissed by being thrown against any solid surface, or by a command word from the caster. Here is my thought.

If my character took the time to shrink a few boulders a few days before an encounter, could he A)throw the shrunken item and shout the command word(not sure if this would be considered a free action-for speaking, or a standard action-for dismissing the spell. My thought is throwing an item and shouting a single word would be doable by anyone really, but I could be wrong) to turn it into a full sized boulder being thrown at the target or B)If A wouldn't work, could he throw a shrunken boulder up at a ceiling above his real target, thus hitting a solid object, have the shrunken boulder enlarge and then fall onto the target?

Lastly, my character suffers from a -2 penalty to strength, in both A and B, would the strength penalty apply to damage? I think yes to A, but I'm not sure about B, since it'd be more of a falling object.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

The Mage Armour: I would make enemies who attack the protected character make a saving throw to believe the illusion, and i fthey do, the Ac bonus applies.
For the lightning bolt: I wouldn't let the caster get a saving throw, he simply disbelieves it.
The shrunken boulder would work like you described. On A) you'd get a penalty on the damage, with B) the damage would be based on the height you could throw it, which would be limited by STR.
I hope this helps you a bit.
