Help Please

Hey guys, my friends and I would like to start up a group to play Dnd. There is, however, a problem. My brother's handbook is all we have as a reference. Now, I know that I will eventually need a DM guide and a Monster manual, but before I buy those I was wondering what we should do to get started. The guide has so much information. It seems it requires someone with experience... which we don't have. Should we buy a premade module or adventure? Do the premade adventures give the DM general guidelines on what to do? Should we just sit down and try to figure it out with the books given to us? Please Help!

There are several threads on what to do if you're a new player to DND. Really the only thing you can do is read the players handbook and Dungeon masters guide left to right, then whoever understands the rules the best should probably be DM.

Also, The Hypertext d20 SRD (v3.5 d20 System Reference Document) :: d20srd.org

And as this is a common subject and easily searchable, I'm closing this thread.
