Do we have a volunteer for DM? If worst comes to worst and no one else will do it I'll give it a shot, but I wouldn't be the best choice (I don't have all the books and I've never really DM'd before). The AIM chat room sounds good, the dice rolling thing would be cool. |

I also wouldn't mind DMing (even though my only epxperience with pnp is watching my friends, once, 8 years ago).
I have a real knack for storytelling.

It seems a lot of people hold interest in this sort of thing. Over in the forgotten Realms Forum, Magus, Rail and I are constantly having a story written, were it is very close to D&D. We don't have the dice roles and all, but it still fun. If some of you wanna check it out, or even get in on the next one, just tell us. I know we currently have Xandax, Fas, and Craig participating in the story with us. |

Hi guys,
I've allready a channel and a dice rolling bot script set up for use on any irc server.
The dice rolling is handled by a computer bot, and the general connection procedure to the chat server is fairly simple.
If I get enough people to start a campaign I will do it, just send me an email or icq me at 13262680.

I would be so in on this! I'm really only interested in playing third edition. I don't have pen&paper experience. But i've got a decent grasp of 3rd Edition rules and a 3rd Edition Character under the 28 point-buy system worked out. I've wanted for some time to get into p&p rpgs, but don't have the time to go somewhere, or anyone to play with...so sad.
Anyways, i've got aol instant messenger on my comp. If i need to download some other communication medium, i'm definitely cool with that.

I definitely agree, on Amazon I've bought the 3rd edition Players handbook for NwN so I can get used to 3rd edition quickly (I hope) . Downloading some other software is cool with me too.

I have a copy of the DMG now and would be willing to DM an online game if there are enough players to play. It would be in the Forgotten Realms setting but I don't know what sort of chat room we'd use. Anyways, if anyone wants to play let me know. |

| IMO, AOL Instant Messenger would be the best choice. It's also the only one on which I could participate. Y!M and MSN Messenger don't have the dice rolling(at least, I don't think they do). ICQ crashes my computer. And I can't stand mIRC(or whatever it's called). |
