| | | Can anything Beat an assassin? My friend wants to be a GM or DM what ever you want to call it, but he wants a bunch of us to meet his assin. what kind of char can hold there on with one and yes its my frist time playin.

| | | That's a very open-ended question mate. DnD doesn't really have "this will beat that" in a general sense. It does have some powers countered specifically by others, but it really depends on your character build.
Can you give us any more information regarding these assassins? Or what outline the GM has given you for character creation?

| | | We havnt started yet its an after school thing and he is planning on haveing use meet his assin, i was just tryin to see if there was anything a fighter/ranger could do agenst an assin so i wouldnt die as easily. His assin is lvl 17 if i remember right if that helps.

| | | As long as the psionic doesn't walk into a the field of an Assassin, the psionic should hold it's own easily. That's the trick with assassin's, though. they excel when they choose when and where to fight. They are very much a class dependant on first strike capabilities, but fall in most straight up combats against combat classes. |
