Zaramoth's Horns & Mithiril Ring

Hi, I'm stuck in Zaramoth's Horns. I suspect I need to break the 2 Zaramoth's Eyes to progress the game. They are highlighted like urns and the script states "right click to break", but it does not matter what I throw at them, they stay intact. How do I break them?

Also, I cannot find the secret room in the mines that hides the mithiril ring for the Assassin quest. Where is it?

You have to use the two Zaramoth's Eye's to hit him. After you hit him a few times, the battle progresses to the next stage. As for the ring, when you reach the Upper Mines of Kaderak, right after the cutscene that starts chapter 5, go up the stairs to the south and through the first door. Pull the lever on the south wall to open the secret room that has the Dwarven Mytrhil Ring.

The Zaramoth Eyes objects are offensive weapons you can use against mobs. Careful, though, they can take out your party members too.

If you whack them enough, they fire a beam.

Hint: You'll need to use them in your final battle with Valdis.
