if i have 5 members in my party, will each member receive less xp per kill, than if i only have 4 players in my party?

I believe you'll get less experience per kill, but you'll face more enemies, and so it will balance out.

Is that so? The amount of enemies I faced in merc/veteran/elite was more or less constant, but the amount of party members grew.
