Missing dragon

Hi Guys I have come across a glitch
act 2 snowbrook haven siege, was getting a bashing from the dragon so fled and decided to do other quests . returned later to snow brook haven expecting to pick up where i left off , being bashed by dragon and minions but no dragon no minions.
The save game thing on this game makes it difficult for me to identify and simply reload a suitable prior game any ideas ? solutions?

Please do a search on "dragon." This question has been answered a few times before.
