Hi all, a quick question: To BW or not to BW that is that question.

Hi all,
I have been off the DSII forum for awhile because I spiked a nasty bug in the Clear the Morden from Kalrathia mission. The result was a loss from level 71 back to 38, which really ticked me off, lol. Now it seems the tide has withdrawn and all of the ill gotten feelings i harbored have now been vanquished. I was wondering, finally to the real question, if I should or should not play BW. The reason I don't is that I want to get all of the Epic Unique items and i feel that BW has introduced too many extra items and recipes and such that make gaining items painstaking. I am just curious if missing out on all of the new quests, terrains, and Mobs would be worth the more streamlined item aquisition.
Thanks

As long as you suffer 'item paranoia' you should generally NOT play such kinds of games!

Well while searching and finding good items may make fun, possessing good items in itself doesn't mean anything in a such 'vulnerable' game like DS2 - because if required every other player has this item too, legally or cheated (...and sadly there are a lot of DS2 cheats ).

I hope this lets you rethink a bit your appetite for super-magical items!?
Of course have fun finding a good item and be glad of a solid equipment but don't become sacrifice of your own material wishes. Otherwise i'm not sure if you will be able to enjoy the map - and i think it's quite well designed.

However, if you don't want to play the addon then take at least a look on some BW screen shots.
Otherwise you may like to consult the online recipe book - the approximate levels have been added and so it will help you to avoid 'cocking' items that won't really fit to your char level.
