I'm lvl 91 and just about to begin BW on elite. I also have a question, when I want to play mercenary again (DS 2, not BW) I start at the very beginning on greilyn beach with Drevin still alive and I can't do anything because my party's too big.... has this ever happened to anyone else?
I've encountered another weird thing with Finala: before I fought Valdis, she had around 8000 mana. She died during the battle, and when I resurrected her, her mana was around 12000 all of a sudden. Then I entered the mysterious cave, she died again, and her mana is 8000 again.... she's also losing skills every now and then.

What do you mean you can't do anything? Why do you think your party is too big? Is there anybody with you besides Drevin?

There's just my original party I have in elite, but with Drevin standing somewhere (he's lvl 87) and if I try to move somewhere it says I can't because my party is too big, because it's 7 people if you count Drevin with them. I tried to disband someone and I could move then, but at the temple where you find the aegis of life, there is no cutscene or something so I can just stand there and nothing happens....
OpaJopa: Anyhow i guess i have heard once about such a tutorial beach error.
But before i sort my minds, is there any deeper reason why you want to go to merc mode again with an elite party?
And do you play with a converted party originally started with game version v2.0-v2.2 ?
Because they often don't work as they should in v2.3 and there's sadly not a lot you can do against...
It's mainly just for fun to complete zaramoth's horns with one character I also have some secondary quests I wanted to complete there to gain skill points.... And I have no idea what you mean with version 2.0 or 2.2.... I made this character on the original DS2 and converted it to BW later on in the game, if that's what you mean.
By the way why did they call those 'unique' items unique? I've got 7 'unique' elven wedding rings :P
