Griffon Feathers?

So - I have to collect feathers for a powerful animal in order to get the orchid in order to get the doll in order to get the..... (and so on...at least that is the way it looks).

Anyway, I have four griffon feathers, and person with the orchid does not recognize that I have them - all I get is the "still looking" option.

Am I right to assume that it is Griffon Feathers I need? Do I need more? Or perhaps some other powerful creature I haven't encountered yet?

This is starting to feel like a bug....

You need something else. Its part of the Fed-Ex quest.
