game freezes when teleport

Hi. I have a major issue playing DS II. the game freezes/locks up (after the warp scene, the screen still display the place from which i teleported) each time i tried to use teleportation devices. Why is that? How can it be fixed? Is there a patch? Many thanks in advance.
btw, i've installed xp sp2 as suggested in the readme files, but didn't help.

I have a similar issue. 1 out of 5 times my game will completely freeze at the teleport transition screen and require a hard reboot. Even when not crashing, I'm seeing short halts and texture corruption during the teleport sequence .. I wonder if it's related.

Any ideas how to fix this? I already have SP2 as suggested by the Readme and using Geforce 6800 128MB.

I had a geforce 3 ti 200, yesterday i bought a 6600 gt. Now i.m having the same problem. Hangtime whan i teleport. Solution ?!?!?!

Same here. 3/5 times the game freezes or I get threw and have tons of texture corruption. Wish there is a fix for this or a future patchto fix it.

Found it. i probably need a bigger power supply. I can play the game with no problem whan i don't use the power connector. I'm getting one today ....
