Elven ale

Balamar won't drink elvin ale, said it was rot gut and he will only drink civilized spirits. Nearly killed him over it. But, I guess I need to get him something more to his liking ifin I want to get his meat. who do I need to blast to get his horsepi** for Balamar??

Like I said Balamar, the guy with the ribs at the outpost, will not trade his ribs for the ale.

I have no idea why this isn't working for you. Balamar should accept the ale. I'd try talking to him again, if you haven't already.

So the one from Fenella in Eriulan doesn't work? Then it must be a bug though admittedly this is one I have never heard off. Well, try the backup saved games if nothing else works (providing you didn't save twice after reaching him).
